I’ve already written one blog about my experience with Mirena. But it mainly covered why I wanted it and what having it implanted was like.  Well months later I am here to tell you that it has been my best friend.  We talk, share life’s problems, go shopping together…ok for real now…it has been my best friend.  It’s was kind of weird to get used to the idea that having what seemed to be unprotected sex kept me and my husband from expecting again.  I say seemed to be unprotected only because I can’t see what’s keeping us protected, awesome!

I have seriously not had a period anything beyond what seems to be my vagina sneezing.  No need for pads or tampons here!  Sweeeeeet!  I think that even deserves a super sweeeeeeeeeeet!  Mirena has turned out to be the most awesome thing ever.  I don’t ever have to think about a thing…not even periods!  Go me!
