I’m getting my first thorough and complete physical done January 2, 2009 and I’m scared.  Not because of blood being drawn or anything like that.  I have had two children.  I have been poked and examined more times then I could begin to count.  I’m scared because I have lived a normal unhealthy lifestyle and don’t want to know what the results of that are at my tender age of 29.

I want to learn from my families mistakes and make the necessary corrections before everything catches up to me.  But yikes, I have been especially lazy and unhealthy since the birth of my second child.  I have never weighed so much or been so out of shape in my entire life.  Hell, even the Wii fit claims by body age is 58!  That’s right I said 58!  Jesus Christ (forgive me God but that’s crazy shit)!

So, clearly my biggest fear is that my doctor is going to come back me to and say “Carmen, you’re fragile little heart is screaming for help!  You suck and are about to die.”  Okay so I exaggerate, but you get what I’m saying.  Come January I’ll be sure to let you know exactly how bad of shape I really am in.  Then 2009 is the year of fit and healthy!
